Training Disclaimer

All training programs facilitated by Jane Newman / NewCore Consulting are educational and experiential in nature. The purpose of these sessions is to support personal insight, professional growth, and increased self-awareness through the exploration of Choice Theory, Internal Control Psychology, and related frameworks.

Content delivered during training is general in nature and is not intended as personal, psychological, medical, financial, or legal advice. While participants may choose to reflect on their own experiences, any application of ideas or strategies discussed remains the responsibility of the individual.

By attending a NewCore training or event, participants acknowledge and agree that:

  • They are responsible for their own decisions, actions, and outcomes following participation

  • NewCore Consulting and Jane Newman accept no liability for any loss, injury, or damages arising from actions taken based on the training

  • Training programs are not a substitute for therapy, counselling, or other professional advice where appropriate

Participation in any NewCore training indicates understanding and acceptance of this disclaimer.

Coaching Disclaimer

All coaching sessions with Jane Newman / NewCore Consulting are educational and reflective in nature. Coaching is designed to support personal insight, self-awareness, and professional growth.

Jane Newman and NewCore Consulting do not provide psychological, medical, financial, or legal advice. Coaching is not a substitute for therapy, counselling, or clinical support.

By participating in coaching sessions, clients acknowledge that they remain fully responsible for their own decisions, actions, and outcomes.

Registration, Payments & Deposits

Payment is required to confirm registration for most NewCore events and programs.

For selected events, retreats, school bookings, or future-year engagements, a deposit may be required to secure dates or places. Unless otherwise stated, deposits are non-refundable.

All prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD) and exclusive of GST unless otherwise specified.

Invoices issued to schools and organisations are payable according to the terms outlined on the invoice and/or Cost Disclosure Statement.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

We understand that circumstances can change. The following policy helps us ensure fairness and sustainability across all NewCore offerings.

Participant Cancellations

  • A full refund will be provided where written notice of cancellation is received at least two months prior to the commencement date of the program or event.

  • A 50% refund will be provided where written notice of cancellation is received at least one month prior to the commencement date of the program or event.

  • No refunds will be issued for cancellations received less than 30 days prior to the commencement date.

  • Where space is available, registrations may be transferred to another NewCore program, event or date at the discretion of NewCore Consulting.

  • Registrations may also be transferred to another participant upon request and approval.

Multi-Day Programs & Catch-Up Attendance

Where a participant is unable to attend part of a multi-day program, NewCore will make reasonable efforts to provide an opportunity to complete missed training days in a future program, subject to availability.

To support administration, resources, venue costs, and catering, a Catch-Up Attendance Fee may apply. Applicable fees will be advised at the time a catch-up session is arranged.

Catch-up opportunities are not guaranteed and are dependent upon suitable future program availability.

Participants are encouraged to complete any missed training days within 12 months of their original program commencement date.

After 12 months, the original enrolment will be considered expired. Any further participation, completion requirements, or attendance at future programs will be subject to NewCore's current program availability, pricing, and enrolment conditions.

No refunds or partial refunds are provided for missed training days.

NewCore Event Cancellations

NewCore reserves the right to cancel, postpone, reschedule, relocate, or modify events where necessary, including where minimum participant numbers are not met or due to unforeseen circumstances.

Where NewCore cancels an event, participants will be offered:

  • a transfer to a future event

  • a credit

  • or a refund of monies paid for the affected event

NewCore is not responsible for participant travel, accommodation, or other associated costs unless otherwise required by law.

Event & Program Adjustments

From time to time, program content, presenters, venues, schedules, catering, or delivery formats may require adjustment.

NewCore Consulting reserves the right to make reasonable changes to ensure the quality, safety, and sustainability of programs and events.

Participant Wellbeing & Responsibility

Many NewCore experiences invite personal reflection and discussion. Participants are encouraged to engage at a level that feels supportive and appropriate for them.

Participants remain responsible for their own wellbeing throughout all programs and are encouraged to seek additional professional support where required.

Photography & Media

Photographs or video may occasionally be taken during NewCore events for promotional, educational, or community purposes.

If you do not wish to appear in photographs or media, please let a member of the NewCore team know at the beginning of the event and we will respectfully accommodate your request.

Memberships & Community Spaces

Connected Core memberships and community offerings are intended to foster respectful, supportive, and growth-oriented participation.

NewCore reserves the right to suspend or remove access to memberships or community spaces where behaviour is considered inappropriate, unsafe, or inconsistent with the values of the community.

Products & Resources

Physical and digital resources purchased through NewCore are intended for personal or organisational use only unless otherwise agreed.

NewCore intellectual property, including training materials, frameworks, prompts, and resources, may not be reproduced, distributed, or commercially replicated without written permission.

Bali Retreat Policies & Information

Participation in NewCore retreats is subject to the following terms and conditions.

Registration & Payment

A deposit is required to secure registration for the Bali Retreat. Places are limited and registrations are not confirmed until the deposit has been received.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, full payment for the retreat must be finalised no later than one month prior to the commencement of the program.

Failure to complete payment by the due date may result in cancellation of the booking and forfeiture of the deposit.

Travel Insurance

All participants are required to arrange and maintain their own comprehensive travel insurance policy for the duration of the retreat, including cover for:

  • medical expenses

  • cancellation and travel disruption

  • personal belongings

  • personal liability

  • emergency evacuation where applicable

Proof of insurance may be requested prior to participation.

Participant Responsibility & Liability

Participants attend the retreat voluntarily and remain responsible for their own wellbeing, travel arrangements, personal belongings, and decisions throughout the retreat experience.

NewCore Consulting and Jane Newman accept no responsibility or liability for:

  • loss, theft, or damage to personal property

  • travel interruptions or delays

  • injury, illness, or medical expenses

  • decisions or actions taken by participants before, during, or after the retreat

Participants are encouraged to exercise personal responsibility and take appropriate precautions throughout the retreat.

Program Adjustments

NewCore Consulting reserves the right to make reasonable adjustments to retreat schedules, accommodation arrangements, activities, venues, facilitators, or program inclusions where required due to unforeseen circumstances or operational needs.

Cancellation Policy

Please refer to the applicable cancellation and refund terms provided at the time of registration. By proceeding with registration, participants and/or payers acknowledge acceptance of these terms.

The Connected Core Membership

The Connected Core Membership ("Membership"), operated by NewCore Consulting. By joining the Membership, members agree to these Terms and Conditions.

Membership Overview

The Connected Core is an online membership community providing access to learning resources, webinars, community discussions, member-only content, and other benefits as determined by NewCore Consulting from time to time.

Membership benefits may evolve and be updated to best serve the community.

Membership Fees

Membership fees are charged on a recurring basis according to the membership plan selected at the time of registration.

Current pricing is displayed on the Membership registration page.

All fees are quoted in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable.

NewCore Consulting reserves the right to change membership pricing. Existing members will be notified of any pricing changes at least 30 days prior to the change taking effect.

Automatic Renewal

Membership continues on an ongoing subscription basis and will automatically renew unless cancelled by the member.

By joining, members authorise NewCore Consulting and its payment provider to process recurring payments using the payment method supplied.

Members are responsible for ensuring their payment details remain current and valid. Automatic renewal terms and cancellation processes are disclosed in accordance with Australian consumer law expectations.

Cancellation

Members may cancel their Membership at any time through their member account or by contacting NewCore Consulting in writing.

Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period. No further membership fees will be charged after cancellation is processed.

Members will continue to have access to Membership benefits until the end of their paid subscription period.

Cancellation does not entitle a member to a partial refund for any unused portion of a billing period unless required by Australian Consumer Law.

 Refund Policy

Membership fees are generally non-refundable.

Refunds may be provided where required under Australian Consumer Law or at the sole discretion of NewCore Consulting in exceptional circumstances.

Member Conduct

Members agree to:

  • Treat other members with respect and professionalism.

  • Contribute constructively to discussions.

  • Maintain confidentiality regarding information shared by other members.

  • Refrain from harassment, discrimination, abusive conduct, or disruptive behaviour.

  • Avoid promoting unrelated products, services, or business opportunities without prior approval.

NewCore Consulting reserves the right to remove content or suspend access where conduct is inconsistent with community standards.

Community Confidentiality

The Connected Core is intended to be a trusted learning community.

Members agree not to share, reproduce, distribute, record, or publicly disclose confidential discussions, member contributions, coaching content, or materials shared within the Membership without express permission from the relevant parties.

Intellectual Property

All Membership materials, resources, recordings, presentations, templates, and content remain the intellectual property of NewCore Consulting unless otherwise stated.

Members receive a personal, non-transferable licence to access and use Membership materials for their own learning and professional development.

Membership content must not be copied, reproduced, distributed, sold, sublicensed, or shared without written permission.

Webinar Recordings and Resources

Live webinars may be recorded and made available to members through the member portal.

NewCore Consulting does not guarantee that recordings will remain available indefinitely and reserves the right to add, modify, or remove content at its discretion.

Disclaimer

Membership content is provided for educational and professional development purposes only.

While reasonable efforts are made to ensure information is accurate and valuable, NewCore Consulting makes no guarantee regarding specific outcomes, business results, financial results, or personal outcomes arising from participation in the Membership.

Members remain responsible for their own decisions and actions.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, NewCore Consulting will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or economic loss arising from participation in the Membership.

Where liability cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law, liability is limited to the extent permitted by law.

Suspension or Termination

NewCore Consulting reserves the right to suspend or terminate a Membership if:

  • Membership fees remain unpaid.

  • A member breaches these Terms and Conditions.

  • A member engages in behaviour that is harmful to the community, NewCore Consulting, or other members.

No refund will be provided where access is terminated due to a breach of these Terms.

Changes to Membership and Terms

NewCore Consulting may update Membership features, benefits, pricing, policies, or these Terms and Conditions from time to time.

Members will be notified of material changes via email or through the member portal.

Continued participation after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Privacy

Personal information is collected and managed in accordance with the NewCore Consulting Privacy Policy.

By joining the Membership, members consent to the collection and use of their information for the administration and delivery of Membership services.

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes arising in connection with the Membership shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland.
